Our next stop is just a short drive to the picturesque ‘Lough Corrib’ – Ireland’s second largest lake. This stunning location offers panoramic views of some of the lakes 350 islands. We will keep an eye out for some of the famous Connemara ponies which are famed in this area.
You’ll continue driving through the Connemara landscape – taking in the mesmerizing and deserted mountainous terrain. Driving through the Maam Valley, amidst the Connemara lakes and Twelve Pins mountain range – our journey towards Galway will take us to Connemara Marble where we can enjoy a demonstration of the many artefacts and gifts they sell world wide.
As we travel towards Galway city we make our journey along the Salthill Prom and breathe in the fresh atlantic sea air. Breathe in the fresh sea air as we watch people brave the chilly waters to take a swim in the worlds oldest swimming club at Blackrock.
Back in your luxury vehicle – a very short drive will take you into the center of Galway – ‘The city of the Tribes’.
